Cotio
General terms and conditions of sale and use
Translation provided for information only: the French version alone is legally binding.
1. Purpose
These terms govern the subscription to and use of the Cotio software published by TM Events & Co ("the Publisher") by professional customers ("the Customer").
2. Trial
A free 14-day trial, with no commitment and no payment method required, is offered once per company.
3. Subscription
The subscription is monthly or annual, renewed automatically, and payable in advance by card or SEPA direct debit via Stripe. The number of workstations depends on the plan. The Customer may cancel at any time from their customer account; cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period, with no pro rata refund.
4. Licence
The Publisher grants a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence of use, for the number of workstations subscribed, for the duration of the subscription. The Customer shall not decompile the software, circumvent the licence protection or make the software available to third parties.
5. Customer data
Files processed by the software remain on the Customer's workstations and are not transmitted to the Publisher, except when voluntarily sent to support. See the privacy policy.
6. Liability
Cotio is a drawing aid. Generated drawings must be checked by the Customer before any manufacturing; they bear the notice "to be checked before manufacturing". The Publisher's liability is limited to the amount paid by the Customer over the last twelve months.
7. Support and updates
Updates are included in the subscription. Support is provided by email and from within the software, Monday to Friday.
8. Prices
Prices are stated exclusive of taxes. The Publisher may change them for subsequent periods by giving the Customer 30 days' notice.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by Belgian law. Any dispute falls under the jurisdiction of the courts of the judicial district of the Publisher's registered office.
