Security

Your parts stay with you.

Your customers' 3D files are often covered by a non-disclosure agreement. Cotio was designed so that they never leave your computer.

Your customers' parts stay with you.

All processing runs on your computer, with no cloud and no artificial intelligence. Only the licence is checked online, using the workstation's anonymous ID. Cotio then works for 30 days offline.

What stays on your computer

The STEP files you import, the generated drawings (PDF, DXF, drawing files), your company settings and your customer profiles.

What goes over the Internet

Only the licence: at activation and then about once a week, the software sends the workstation's anonymous ID, its name and the Cotio version. It receives a digitally signed licence, verified on the workstation.

Voluntary reporting

If you report a problem from within the software, you explicitly choose whether or not to attach the file concerned.

No artificial intelligence

Cotio uses no AI model and no online service to draw. Your files are never used to train any system.

Offline operation

Once activated, Cotio works for 30 days without a connection (12 months with the Enterprise plan), which suits workshops isolated from the network.

Your customer account

The website only stores what is needed for your subscription: company, users, activated workstations, invoices. Passwords are protected with Argon2id; payments are processed by Stripe, and we never see your card numbers.

Try it on your own parts.
