Complete assemblies
Import the whole assembly: one line and one drawing per unique part, with the quantity read from the CAD tree.
Automatic drawings · 100% on your computer
Drop in a part or a complete assembly. Cotio chooses the views, adds dimensions, labels the holes, unfolds the sheet metal and fills in your title block. You check, you export.
What happens in 10 seconds
Sheet metal
Cotio unfolds the part along the neutral fibre, using the K-factor and tool radius you have set for each material and each thickness. The flat pattern comes out dimensioned, with its bend lines, and as a DXF ready for laser cutting.
Built for manufacturing
Everything you need between the customer's file and the finished part.
Import the whole assembly: one line and one drawing per unique part, with the quantity read from the CAD tree.
French, English, German, Dutch or Spanish, per customer.
Mass, blank, cutting length, bends and holes, so you can quote without redrawing.
One ZIP per request for quotation: drawings, DXF, STEP and Excel summary.
Each revision index keeps its date and reason, on the drawing.
Title block, logo, materials, bend table, first-angle or third-angle projection, decimals, file names and DXF layers. Set up in 10 minutes, shared across all your workstations.

Frequently asked questions
No. Cotio reads your STEP files and generates the drawings on your computer. Only the licence check goes over the Internet, about once a week: it sends the workstation ID, never a file or any geometry.
No. Drawing generation relies on technical drawing rules: recognition of holes, bends and turned parts, choice of views and scale, dimensioning standards. The result is the same every time for the same file.
STEP files (.step, .stp, AP203 and AP214) exported from SolidWorks, Inventor, Fusion, Creo, CATIA, Solid Edge, FreeCAD, Onshape, etc. One part per file or an assembly: each part gets its own drawing.
Cotio produces a complete drawing: views, sections, overall dimensions, hole table, sheet-metal flat pattern and title block. Like any drawing, it must be checked before manufacturing: the 3D model does not contain functional tolerances, threads or surface finishes. The built-in editor lets you add them in a few clicks.
Yes. At first launch, a wizard has you enter your title block, logo, materials, bend coefficients, projection method, dimension format and file naming. These settings can be exported and installed on your other workstations.
No. The 14-day trial is complete and without commitment. At the end, you choose a plan; otherwise, the software is paused and your drawings stay on your computer.
